Man....cartoons sure arent what they use to be......

So here's a picture of a little girl that came to visit us this past week. It was a ton of fun to have them here...but it was sure a lot of work. She got pirate tattoos and wanted this one on her face! I think it looks good maybe I should try it out.

I'm thinking i may try to start blogging again...but only from my cell phone. It seems like too much work to take pictures and put them on my computer and find time to blog about it...so phone messages it is! Here is a pic of my mom's last rose that she may not see...depending on how hungry the deer are today.

Gardening

I haven't posted in a while...because I've been busy, and everything that I would actually post about, Cali posts about, so I dont really see the point. BUT...I found something to actually blog about, because Cali doesn't do yard work...

So here was my first project...I dug up a TON of grass out of these old flower gardens and planted my very own vegetable garden. I planted some tomatoes, cucumbers, and yellow squash. All the important stuff.

Then I started on the flowerbeds and such. I think it all turned out really well. Especially the flowers that I planted in the old tree stump. I'll post more pictures when the roses bloom.

St Louis Zoo

We went to the zoo today and wanted to share it with you. The penguins were the best!!! Its about 11 minutes long, so dont fall asleep in the middle!

Valentine's Day

Cali and I had a very good day today! We went shopping for each other the day and got each other surprise gifts. I had to go to clinic today, so on the way back I stopped by the grocery store and bought some ingredients so I could cook an amazing dinner. I got home and started cooking some soup in our new crock pot. It was REALLY good...here's the recipe, you should all try it. Click Here. Then Cali got to open her present, which is a new coffee maker that she can program to have her coffee ready in the morning, and some new coffee and a travel mug and stuff. After I finished making the soup I started on our main course, which was a steak in a red wine sauce, asparagus, and some french bread. All very yummy. It was similar to the picture over there...but not exactly like that, that was a meal we had months ago. It's an old picture. Then I got to open my present, which was an amazing robe and an amazing evening relaxing with my wife. Overall the best Valentine's Day I've ever had!
